FIELD: aircraft construction. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of layer-wise corrugation of a belt of a material simultaneously with welding of it in a single process upon continuous and successive stepwise formation of necessary corrugation on the endless belt, being fed with leading under a forming indenter of a welding- and-forming unit, with simultaneous welding of portions of an upper layer and respective portions of formed beforehand lower layer and simultaneous thermal fixation of the welded previous corrugation of the upper layer. The installation for performing the method has the frame 1, supporting several pairs of guides 5 and two plates 2, 3, mounted with possibility of vertical reciprocation motion. Each plate 2(3) is provided by the frame 6(7) with rods 8(9) in the form of combs, which may be moved horizontally, performing a reciprocation motion relative to the plate in direction to an axis of the rods. Combined motion of the plate and the frame provides movement of the rods along a rectangular path. Accumulating reels 21 and welding-and- forming assemblies with distributing rollers for placing the belts on a surface of the rods 8, 9 are arranged over each pair of the guides. The welding-and-forming assembly has two units, each unit having a forming indenter and thermal fixing indenter, which may perform reciprocation horizontal motion for corrugation process and step motion relative to a contour, had been formed by the rods.
