FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metal deformation process, can be used for receiving of corrugated band for heat exchangers. Unit for corrugating of metallic strip contains stand, located on it die for clamp and strip corrugating, die from the outlet side of unit allows ability of vertical and horizontal displacement, located between dies forming punch, installed with the ability of horizontal and vertical displacement. Additionally other die is installed with ability of vertical displacement. Forming punch allows body and is implemented with providing of ability of its constant symmetric location relative to mentioned dies ensured by imparting to it horizontal displacement at a rate two times less displacement rate of the first die by means of kinematical connection with die from one side of unit. Additionally mentioned kinematical connection is implemented in the form of fixed on case of forming punch, connected by engagement with spline, fixed on stand and spline, connected to die from the outlet side of unit, and internal side surfaces of dies are implemented with fixed on it patches, total thickness of which is equal to thickness of forming punch. For vertical displacement of forming punch and dies, and horizontal displacement of the left punch there are used hydraulic drives.
