FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: in spinning mechanism of centrifugal spinning machine, the cylindrical yarn duct installed between scroll tube and yarn spreader can open at the side of yarn winding unit. The latter has winding drum and pattern holder. Opening of yarn duct is not accompanied by displacement of yarn from its longitudinal axis. This reduces friction of yarn against wall of yarn duct in the course of spinning and against wall and upper end of spreader in the course of winding. This also brings winding unit closer to spinning mechanism. EFFECT: improved design. 4 cl, 4 dwg
