FIELD: wind-power engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device designed for converting wind energy into energies of other type. Proposed windmill has at least two blades in form of Savonius rotors each consisting of two semicylinders installed on axles for turning. According to invention, windmill is provided additionally with framework, Savonius rotors are installed on turnable platform with vertical shaft, and their axles are mechanically connected with framework of windmill. Axes of each semicylinder are arranged in their gravity center, and each semicylinder is furnished with weight secured on its surface. EFFECT: simplified design of windmill, improved reliability in operation, increased degree of utilization of wind energy. 2 cl, 5 dwg
