FIELD: mechanical engineering; diesel engines. SUBSTANCE: injector has body, spray tip with needle and check valve with sealing end surface and spring. Novelty in design is that check valve has additional side sealing surface arranged in above-the-needle space. Sealing end surface of valve is arranged in valve space to place inlet channel in communication with valve space. Additional side sealing surface of valve provides possibility of separation of bypass channel from above-the-needle space and outlet channel. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of operation. 1 dwg
