FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: overrunning ratchet mechanism has ratchet-wheel 1 and holder 2 accommodating pawls 3 made in the form of plates adopted to rotate round their axles and pressed to ratchet-wheel by resilient members 4. Secured on ratchet-wheel are two disk-shaped carriers mounted with axial clearance relative to rests 5. Disk-shaped carriers are made in the form of blade runners, blades of which are oriented so that in case of free wheeling of the mechanism air-and-oil mixture is fed onto that surface of pawl 3, which faces ratchet-wheel. In the course of free wheeling air-and-oil mixture flow is fed by means of blades under pawl surface facing ratchet-wheel to brake off pawls from ratchet-wheel and so constant clearance between pawls and ratchet-wheel teeth is maintained. In the course of working running of mechanism flow of air-and-oil mixture is interrupted and pawls are forced by resilient members to engage ratchet-wheel teeth. EFFECT: improved effectiveness of mechanism. 2 dwg
