FIELD: furnaces. SUBSTANCE: shaft has front, back and side walls, a tray lowering mechanism and a heat source, for example, fuel burners. The front wall is formed from sections to each of which at least one tray is fastened. Each section has rollers on the bottom and rails for engagement with adequate rollers - from above. These sections-cars are stacked inside the furnace and are allowed to be rolled into the upper inlet window and rolled out through the lower outlet window. The tray (section-car) lowering mechanism is made in the form a hydraulic cylinder mounted under the furnace and a device for controlling holders of the section stack. When the sections-cars are lowered their rollers and the rail ends engage with vertical guides. EFFECT: improved structure. 3 cl, 3 dwg
