FIELD: briquetting of loose materials. SUBSTANCE: press for briquetting loose materials has chamber with charging and discharging ports. Chamber accommodates front and rear stamps connected by connecting rods with crank mechanisms of their drive. Crank mechanisms have common axis of rotation and installed at some angular displacement to one another. Axis of stamps is displaced relative to axis of rotation of crank mechanisms through value indicated in invention description. Cranks are made in form of pin with two eccentric necks. Installed on bed is stop and guide. Connecting rod of front crank mechanism consists of two articulated links. One link connected with crank is made in form of bell-crank whose one arm interacts with stop. Hinge of links has limiter and roller interacting with guide. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 9 dwg
