FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves dividing heparinized patient's blood into two parts in vitro, introducing solvent into reference sample and adding solution of interleukin-3 in final concentration of 300 ng/ml to test sample. Both samples are incubated in thermostat, treated with dyestuff and content of basophils in each sample is determined. If basophil content in test sample drops by 10% and more as compared with reference sample, the diagnosis is delayed allergic reaction. Method permits discovering in vitro the immunoglobulin E specific to interleukin-3 in the blood of patients with delayed allergic reactions.
