FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves dividing in vitro in two portions the patient blood sample to be examined. Normal rabbit serum is introduced into the test sample in the ratio of 1:1 to produce a source of complement. A solvent, for example physiologic salt solution, is introduced into the control sample. Both samples are incubated in a constant temperature cabinet for 30 min, and the thrombocyte number is counted for each sample. If the thrombocyte number in the test sample is less than that in the control one, autoimmune thrombocytopenia diagnosis is set.
