FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves charging burden onto large cone during rotation of burden distributor. Rate of pouring burden materials from small cone is regulated by controlling opening time of small cone so that the volume of one dose of materials is discharged on large cone during 1-3 revolutions of rotary distributor. Opening of small cone is initiated at the moment the rotary distributor is disposed at one of cyclically changeable stations. Upon termination of discharge of burden material the distributor is displaced to off-position. Rate of burden pouring may be also regulated by stepped opening of small cone with 3-6 second delay and lowering it for 0.2-0.6 of its full stroke. EFFECT: increased efficiency by improved precision of discharging burden on great cone. 2 cl
