FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: drive comprises casing, planetary transmissions, one for each heald shaft, each transmission being linked kinematically with heald shaft by movable epicycle and with control mechanism by lever and cam mechanisms. Transmissions are designed as David's reducer with two internal gearings, one planetary row for all heald shafts and differential rows, one for each heald shaft, said rows having one common input from carrier of planetary row and two outputs for movable epicycle and central sun wheel so that said outputs can be locked by cam and lever mechanisms for which purpose planet pinions of these rows meshing with movable epicycle of axles, and central wheels on common drive carrier are installed movably, each central wheel is made jointly with cam mating with roller of pusher which serves as a crank of four-link mechanism mounted movably on fixed axle and articulated by pitman with gear wheel disposed movably in casing with a provision for being locked by gear cluster with movable epicycle for which purpose the cluster axle is articulated to one arm of two-arm lever and upper free end of its other arm is joined with turn-on needle of control mechanism.
