FIELD: automotive engineering. SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine has casing, and at least two cylinders arranged in counter phases therein. Each piston is connected through two equal-arm rocker members with one of motion transformers in the form of sun wheels rigidly affixed to output shaft, internal engagement crown gear rotating inside the casing, at least one satellite gear mounted on carrier to engage with the crown gear and sun wheel, and lead mechanism positioned on the shaft and connected to one of the pistons. Carrier of one mechanism is directly engaged with first rocker of one piston, whereas carrier of the other mechanism is connected to its second rocker by a two-arm lever. Satellites of the two engagement mechanisms mate with common crown gear. First rocker of the other piston is connected to lead mechanism, whereas its second rocker is linked with free end of two-arm lever by a shaft parallel with output shaft. The engine has a continuous torque of output shaft, has no side loads imposed on pistons, produces no vibrations and oscillations. Also, the engine can use any fuel, and can control the compression ratio of the fuel and the frequency of rotation of the output shaft. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency in operation. 2 dwg
