CAGE TO SERVE BRIDGE CRANES SPAN GIRDERS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: cage has a suspended platform, supplied with a frame, on which suspended pullings and changeable length stoppers are fixed. During servicing span girders of bridge cranes the stoppers using step bearings rest on the bridge crane beams by step bearings to exclude skewness of the cage. The platform is suspended from carriages, situated on both sides of crane trolley on railway, and is capable of movement, that prevents crane trolley overturning moment. EFFECT: cage is used in lifting and transporting equipment. 2 dwg
