FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to handling equipment, particularly, to overhead cranes. Bridge crane includes a bridge with one or two longitudinal span and end beams, a rail track, a block of running wheels, supports, cargo trolley with load lifting and trolley movement mechanisms arranged on it, gallery with working platforms, electric equipment, crane movement mechanism, control and safety devices. Above the cargo trolley there is a self-contained load-lifting device in the form of a frame having two pairs of support posts with wheels. Support posts are made with possibility of change of vertical size, are installed on rail track and are distanced from each other in pairs at distance exceeding length of cargo trolley. Frame of the frame is made of I-beams and/or channels on which a crane-beam with a movable electric hoist is installed. Into the crane movement electrical circuit there is a safety device in the form of a normally closed limit switch installed in the zone between the fixed and movable parts of the support posts, electrically connected to the crane movement electric motor.
EFFECT: enabling possibility of crane equipment lifting/lowering onto the bridge and cargo trolley, reducing the time for repair works and works related to crane modernization.
