FIELD: clothes washing and squeezing. SUBSTANCE: when the washing machine is actuated to work in a "washing" regime, the rotation of the electromotor shaft is transmitted through a two-side geared collar, an elastic cover plate and a belt drive to pulley only, the being secured on the actuator shaft. When the machine is actuated to work in a "squeezing regime" the electromagnet is induced and through a shift fork provides for kinematic coupling and rotation transfer from the electromotor shaft through the collar with elastic cover plate to a puller secured on the hollow shaft of the drum. In these conditions a one-side geared collar mounted on the actuator shaft provides for its kinematic coupling with the pulley secured on the drum shaft and for their equal rotation speeds in a squeezing regime of the machine. Owing to the fact that the two-side geared collar is capable of reciprocating on the electromotor shaft by means of the shift fork, located on the electromagnet armature, the installed capacity of the electromagnet may be reduced, because the electromagnet does not cause the removing of the electromotor in a whole but do causes the removing of collars which are mounted on the electromotor shaft and actuator shaft and being low in weight.
