DIFFERENTIAL-TRANSFORMER TRANSDUCER FOR MEASURING ANGLE OF ROTATION OF TWO SHAFTS Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2010156 C1

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: transducer has motionless magnetic circuit made in form of three non-looped ring branches 1-3 mounted in alignment and in parallel one to another. The branches are connected by cruciform link 4. The branches form two magnet bridges. Exciting windings 6 and 7 connected in parallel are disposed on links 8 and 9 of U-shaped rotors 10 11. Measuring winding 5 embraces both ends of central ring branch 2 of the magnetic circuit. When shafts 12 and 13 which are under control rotate e. m. f. is induced in measuring winding 5 as a result of unbalance of magnet bridges formed by U-shaped rotors, ring branches and cruciform link. Induced e. m. f. is proportional to algebraic sum of angles of rotation of shafts being under control. EFFECT: improved precision of measurement. 2 dwg
