FIELD: electric communication. SUBSTANCE: detector of speech pauses in system with delta modulation for systems with channel multiplex increases accuracy of isolation of periods of speech activity of subscriber. It has shift register 3, first and second modulo two adders 4, 5, first and second NAND gates 6, 8, reversible counter 9, storage 10. Clock input of shift register 3 is connected to integrated second input of first NAND gate 6, input of delay element 7 which output is linked to second input of second NAND gate 8. Two outputs of shift register 3 are connected to inputs of first modulo two adder 4 which output is connected to first input of reversible counter 9 through first NAND gate 6. Two other outputs of shift register 3 are coupled to inputs of second modulo two adder 5 which output is connected through second NAND gate 8 to second input of reversible counter 9. Outputs of reversible counter 9 are connected to inputs of storage 10. EFFECT: increased accuracy of isolation of periods of speech activity of subscriber. 1 dwg
