FIELD: automatics; computer technology. SUBSTANCE: indicator has dissector telecamera 1, analog-to-digital converter 2, comparator 3, operation mode switching unit 4, sync generator 8, tracking cruciform raster former 9 and two channels for forming signals of coordinates X and Y. Each channel has reversible counter 5, register 6, digital-to-analog converter 7, multiplexer 10, subtracter 11, multiplier 12, weight coefficient former 13, digital filter 14, error analyzer 15, set functions signal former 16, memory unit 17, OR gate 18, AND gate 19, analog signals adder 20 and 21 made of AND gates. Indicator operates in sequence in two modes: search mode and coordinate measuring mode. In this case capability of tracking and measurement of coordinates of point light objects is provided for objects which move with higher velocity. Time of scanning of tracking cruciform raster is reduced for each coordinate as error of estimation coordinates of object's image center. Optimal non-linear algorithm of filtration is used in the automatic control circuit which regulates position of tracking cruciform raster.
