FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: to prevent cotton dust and fiber set on fire and blast possibility during cotton harvesting electrodes 3 and 4 on plates 1 of working aggregate of cotton harvesting machine are electrically insulated one from another by partition members 5, height of which exceeds the height the electrodes 3 and 4. During harvesting process cotton bushes are getting between the plates 1 and cotton fiber of each box is charged from the nearest to it electrode 3 or 4 with positive or negative charge. Then according to physics law charged cotton fiber begin to be pushed off from electrode with similar charge and pulled up by electrode with opposite charge, that is placed above it. Here cotton fiber changes its charge once more and goes up in the like way. Up-coming cotton fiber, besides of influence of Coulomb's forces of interaction between charged particles, are subjected to influence of up-coming air streams, created in pneumatic pipe 2 by source of discharge. So cotton fibers always are moving up. Under action of electric and pneumatic forces cotton fibers are pulled out of cotton boxes and transported from working chamber through pneumatic pipe 2 into collecting bunker. EFFECT: fire and blast safe apparatus is used in cotton harvesting. 2 dwg
