FIELD: agriculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves sowing carrot seeds 110-120 days before autumn night frosts on a five-line pattern, increasing the sowing rate by one third. As carrot roots reach table ripeness, they are dug out in a line of every other row while large roots are harvested selectively in the remaining rows, leaving small roots for the winter at a distance of 15-20 cm between the plants. EFFECT: method ensures harvesting carrot roots of table ripeness and growing seeds from one sowing. 2 dwg
