FIELD: fodder production. SUBSTANCE: method involves diminuting feedstock and removing toxic substances by wetting seeds with anolyte or catholyte obtained by treating 1-% solution of NaCl with electric current of 500 A, 18 V. Seeds and treating solution are taken in a ratio of 1.0 : 0.9. Rape seeds are wetted in anolyte with pH not over 2.5, active chlorine concentration not under 200 mg/l and a redox potential of 900-1150 μB, or in catholyte with pH not under 10 and a redox potential of 600-800 μB. EFFECT: higher quality of fodder. 2 cl, 2 tbl
