FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: coke-oven gas is cooled in contact coolers with closed water cycle. Cooled coke-oven gas is subjected to treatment with absorbing soda solution. Waste absorbing solution is regenerated under vacuum. Gases produced during this process are cooled. Produced condensate is treated with steam under vacuum 600-620 mm Hg and is mixed after treatment with regenerated absorbing solution. EFFECT: reduced cost of cleaning of coke-oven gas, improved efficiency.
