FIELD: coke industry. SUBSTANCE: in a method including washing coke gas with aqueous solutions of alkali metal carbonates, recovering absorbing solution by heating in vacuum, cooling releasing recovery gas, mixing formed condensate with recovery solution, cooling and returning the latter into coke gas washing stage, distinguishing feature is that condensate, prior to be mixed with recovered solution, is separated under centrifugal and gravitational forces into water and organic phases, the latter being withdrawn from the system. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of process.
