FIELD: metal mining industry. SUBSTANCE: heavy-media separator has a separation bath, means for the suspension supply and for charging of light and heavy products. A supplementary duct for the suspension supply and the inverter of the flow are positioned under the feed supplying means, the latter having a changeable angle of inclination. The feed supplying device has the form of a through with a zigzag edge. The means for the heavy product discharge is provided with an electromagnetic gate. The separator may be provided with a heavy product level pickup connected to a means for the light fraction discharge by means of a linkage. The means for the light fraction discharge is electrically connected to the electromagnetic gate. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation. 2 cl, 2 dwg
