FIELD: sanitary engineering. SUBSTANCE: pipeline system consists cold and hot water supply risers 1 and 2 and two pairs of pipeline branches connected with risers and provided with drain pipes 11 and 12 and drain cocks 5, 6, 7, 8 situated on corresponding branches of pipeline system. For cleaning pipeline system 4 drain cock 7 is opened to the maximum and cock 8 is closed. Cocks 5 and 6 on parallel pipeline branches are also opened to the maximum and drain pipe 11 is closed with plug 13. Hot water from riser 2 fills pipeline 3 to cock 8, then stops and stars to flow back via cock 5, cock 6, pipeline 4, cock 7 and drains through drain pipe 12. Cold water from riser 1 coming into pipeline 4 is forced by hot water pressure towards cock 7. Hot and cold water flows produce counterpressure in system and act more intensively on pipeline walls thus facilitating their cleaning. Closing and opening of cocks and plugging of drain pipes shall be alternated. Cleaning operation is intensified by placing a source of ultrasonic vibrations on drain pipe being plugged.
