FIELD: sanitary engineering, in particular, technique used in restricted water supply systems.
SUBSTANCE: washing apparatus has water source, drain pipe, feeding pipe extending from water source to drain pipe, tank equipped with cover formed as head fixed at end of drain pipe, drainage system designed for discharge of air and free drainage of water from tank. Drainage system is made in the form of through opening provided in upper part of tank or in the form of open end of drain pipe, said open end being arranged higher than maximum level of water in tank when the latter is free from drain opening. One or more independent reservoirs may be used as water source, said reservoirs being equipped with throats and preliminarily filled with water, each of said reservoirs being set in overturned vertical or inclined position within open containers so that gap is formed between throat and bottom of container. Feeding pipes individually connect cavities of each container with drain pipe. Upper parts of drain openings of throat of each reservoir are positioned in conjunction with containers at the level below drain opening of tank or upper end of drain pipe.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of water and simplified construction of apparatus.
