FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has built-up housing provided with opening for mounting blank and secured in place with the aid of upper and lover covers, punches disposed radially in housing, associated with slides having wedged bearing surfaces and adopted for engagement with respective striking surfaces of housing, slide support fastened in locating plate and provided with intermediate plate engageable with slides, resilient member positioned between locating and intermediate plates, spring-loaded center for axial positioning of blank and two hollow spring-loaded inserts with tapered external surface. Slides are associated with side surfaces of housing with the aid of double-dovetail cross-section movable guides mounted for displacement along bearing surfaces. Length of each guide ranges within 0.75 to 0.95 of length of housing bearing surface. Placed between upper cover and slides are flexible members secured rigidly on slide side.
