FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: device has bed 1 carrying die 2 and turnable template 3 with projection 4 forming profiled channel 5. The height of the projection is equal to half of the thickness of wooden blank 6. Punch 8 moving along guides 7 is provided with recess 9. The upper surface of the recess has the radius equal to the radius of the forming surface of the profiled channel. The lower surface of the recess is in the form of retainer 10 with the height equal to the half of the thickness of the blank. The device intended for manufacturing two articles simultaneously has the punch in which recesses are accomplished on two opposite sides and two dies are positioned symmetrically to the punch.
