FIELD: impregnation and drying of capillary and porous materials. SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying direct current to material through electrodes in combination with excitation of intense ultrasonic vibrations in the material, with excitation of vibrations being conducted in several stages. Primarily local portion of material is excited and vibratory actions are conducted for period of time, at which compressive deformation is performed in alternation with tensile deformation, which corresponds to optimum permeability of material. Then material is subjected to the action of frequency equal to natural vibrations frequency of the material for period of time, at which weight of material is reduced by 6-12% compared to initial weight during drying or to the action of natural vibrations frequency of fluids contained in pores, cracks and capillaries of the material during impregnation. Action of frequency is limited to period of time sufficient for recovery of initial weight of material. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in operation. 7 cl, 2 dwg
