FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: reactor 4 is interposed between inlet and outlet branch pipes 2 and 3 within case 1. The reactor is formed with inlet and outlet grids 5,6 which form two positioned in series along the stream chambers 9,10 together with inner bimetal grid 7,8. The chambers are filled with a catalyzer of different composition. Inlet and outlet grids 5,6 are provided with shutter 12 which are bent toward of the gas flow into grid 5 and along the gas flow on grid 6. Shutters 12 has different altitudes which increase on grid 6. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability owing to more smooth distribution of heat gas flux. 3 cl, 2 dwg
