FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: first, magnetic holder is assembled. Then, circular clearances formed by projections of pole shoes are filled with magnetic and nonmagnetic compositions. Bush made of nonmagnetic material whose thickness is equal to clearance being sealed and bush which is coaxial with first one and made of material with outer diameter equal to diameter of surface being sealed are introduced in succession in holes of pole shoes positioned vertically. In course of mounting the holder on nonmagnetic bush, circular clearances are filled in succession with alternating portions of magnetic and nonmagnetic compositions. Then holder is shifted over shaft and then it is mounted in housing of seal. EFFECT: extended field of application. 2 dwg
