FIELD: metal working. SUBSTANCE: movable bearing plate carries press tool in the form of top semipyramid and concentric punch as well as compensator of surplus metal with spring rings mounted in bearing plate on opposite side to press tool. Rings are engageable with face end of punch facing bearing plate. Fixed lower plate is provided with bottom semipyramid. Spring rings of compensator are splint in their meridian section. Tapered outside lateral surface of rings of smaller diameter face top plane of bearing plate. Whose housing is also tapered and of the same conicity direction. Rings of compensator are positioned in the housing for alternate engagement in the direction from bottom ring to top ring by their lateral outside surfaces with surface of housing of bearing plate as operating effort is applied to working face end of punch.
