FIELD: forging production. SUBSTANCE: knocking-out member, movable in motion direction of a plate annular lower die, yoke, embracing the lower die, are mounted on an upper plate. A punch is rigidly mounted on a stationary plate. End surface of the annular lower die turned towards the stationary plate, has a relief in the form of alternative (along a periphery) dents and recesses, whose side walls are parallel to a lengthwise axis of the die set and whose end surfaces are flat and normal relative to the above mentioned axis. A zone of joining of a lateral surface of the punch and surface of its working end is chamfered. Identical chamfers are provided in zones of joining of surfaces of the annular lower die end on its recess portions and inner lateral surface of its gravure. Adjacent chamfers of the punch and the lower die form a slot for fin flowing out at final time moment of forging operation. EFFECT: enhanced quality of forgings. 1 c, 2 dwg
