FINAL DRIVE OF TRANSPORT VEHICLE Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2011554 C1

FIELD: transport facilities. SUBSTANCE: final drive comprises central gear mounted on input shaft, twinned gears, and gears mounted on output shaft. In twinned gears the gears of larger diameter mesh with central gear and are of the same diameter while smaller-diameter gears mesh with output shaft and have different diameters. Input shaft axis is positioned higher than that of output shaft for creating a requisite clearance. Gears are concentric with each other, the single-rim gear having external teeth while double-rim gear has external and internal teeth. Input shaft carries an additional central gear meshing with internal rim of the gear whose external rim meshes with a gear. Reduction unit may have equal speed ratios in meshing rims of second and third stages. EFFECT: improved design. 2 dwg
