FIELD: automotive industry. SUBSTANCE: prior to getting out of car driver should press permanent magnet (first pulse) for 1 - 2 sec to definite plate on dashboard, interior wall, etc, behind which hermetically sealed reed switch is installed. Permanent magnet may be fastened, for instance, to key bunch. Hermetically sealed reed switch operates to switch on alarm signalling. When alarm signalling is switched on, starting of engine is prevented by break of MINUS-FRAME circuit and ignition circuit. If MINUS is shunted to frame by intruder, alarm operates. To switch off alarm, press permanent magnet to above-indicated place for 1 - 2 sec (second pulse). EFFECT: enhanced antitheft protection owing to proper selection of place of action on hermetically sealed reed switch arranged inside car. 1 dwg
