FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: mass has, wt. -% : boric acid 2-3; aluminium oxide 10-15; sodium silicate 2-3; refractory clay 4-8; slag from aluminothermal production of metallic chrome - the rest. Properties: compression strength is 44- 47 H/mm2, opened porosity is 19-22% , linear changes are 0.9-1.5% , slag-resistance (disconnection) is 1.5-1.8 mm), caking deep is 12-17 mm, wear per melting is 3-6 mm.
