FIELD: polymeric compounds. SUBSTANCE: method involves copolymerization at least one amidosulfoacid of the general formula R1-C(O)-N(H)-C(R2,R3)-C(R4,R5)-SO3M, where R1 - C2-11-alkylene, R2, R3, R4 and R5 - hydrogen atoms or C1-8-alkyls at condition that the total carbon atoms content in R2, R3, R4 and R5 is 8 or less; M - hydrogen atom, ammonium or metal cation, or theirs mixture. Copolymerization is carried out in high-energy mechanical mixer used for high-viscous media at the temperature from 93.3 C (at the end of polymerization) to the temperature that is lower than monomer destruction one. Drying is carried out before cooling of aqueous polymeric gel. Method can be used for preparing of solid homopolymer or copolymer, which can be used as dehydrating agents.
