Upper ring has circular recesss on internal surface and is capable of contacting with pipe end. Catcher body has a second row of concentric holes having spherical retainers which interact with circular recess of upper ring. Locking element of catcher is of stepped shape and the length of its lower part of a smaller diameter is larger than the distance between the centers of rows of spherical retainers.
