POWERED CONNECTION SUPPORT Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: powered connection support is designed to support roof in connections with rock workings, in particular with working driven together with advance of face. It includes inner and outer sections, base coupled to hydraulic jack of advance and cappings interconnected with the use of correction jacks. Face part of support carries hydraulic props and stabilizers, its opposite side has rear hydraulic props. Props carry guides and carriage enveloping them with inner ribs. One of ribs is positioned at distance equal to width of guide from side wall on side of outer section, other rib is located at distance of possible lateral displacement of support from other side wall. Ends of base on top are provided with rigidly coupled boxes and supplementary correction jacks. Carriage has additional advance hydraulic jack with which it is coupled to one of boxes. Curvilinear horizontal bracket connected with advance hydraulic jack is anchored in front part of one of bases. EFFECT: simplified design, enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
