FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: crank mechanism is mounted on taper ring welded to housing. Forward and reverse running valves are arranged in working chamber. Intake and exhaust valves are mounted for engagement with respective connecting rods of mechanism and for regular communication of chamber with reduced pressure bottle and with atmosphere. Mechanism is kinematically linked with crankshaft through connecting rod and end wall of chamber. Mounted in intake and exhaust branch pipes are respectively bypass valves and valves controlled by power cylinders. First valves bring chamber in communication with compressed air source and second valves shut off escape of compressed air from the chamber whose walls are secured on ring. Part of exhaust branch pipes are brought in communication with atmosphere through shut-off cock and other branch pipes are connected with bottle and compressor through valves. Compressor is connected with internal combustion engine. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 6 dwg
