FIELD: for various mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: overrunning clutch has holder 2, sprocket 3 and rollers 4 mounted in housing 1. Sprocket 3 is mounted on shaft 10 by means of antifriction bearing 5. Besides that, clutch is provided with control mechanism made in form of electromagnetic clutch 6 whose armature 9 is linked with driven shaft 10 through a splined joint; other splined section is used for connection with splined section 8 of sprocket 3. When electromagnetic clutch 6 is disengaged, its armature is engaged with sprocket 3 of clutch and torque from revolving drive gear 7 is transmitted to shaft 10. When electromagnetic clutch 6 is engaged, rigid coupling of sprocket 3 with driven shaft 10 is discontinued and shaft stops; as a result, overrunning clutch starts idling.
