FIELD: visual study aids. SUBSTANCE: device has a heavy-duty supporting frame provided with high-adjustable bearing props, which made like a two-story spatial structure. On the upper story of the frame are mounted the props with a screw-type mechanism for vertical movement of bearing plates serving to fasten the plate under test; on the lower story are situated measuring means with extension rods. The bearing prop is in the form of a fork with threaded through holes for a stud and bolts, the ends of the stud are mounted on the frame for free rotation by means of an arm pressed in the stud; the threaded portion of the bolts terminates in a cone, which makes it possible to simulate an hinge joint for holding edges of the plate. In order to measure deflections of the plate, the use is made of dial-type indicators. The transverse load applied to the plate is produced with the help of a set of weights. The screw mechanism is used for vertically displacing the bearing plates on which the plate rests. EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities. 4 cl, 2 dwg
