FIELD: rock crushing. SUBSTANCE: crusher has shell 1 with through windows 2 in side walls, movable driving crushing jaws 3 mounted on axles of suspension 4, retainable jaw 5 with rests 6 and suspension axle 7, and drive 8. Each movable jaw 3 carries protective device against noncrushable bodies; these devices are made in the form of system of basic shock absorbers 9 and additional shock absorbers 10, secured on hinged supports 11 and 12 and braces 13. Besides, provision is made of additional protective device against noncrushable bodies made in the form of two basic mechanisms: mechanism for turning retainable jaw and combined mechanism intended for stopping crusher operation and returning retainable jaw into initial position. The first mechanism is made in the form of hollow beam 14 mounted freely in shell windows 2 and contacting jaw rests 6, and protective members built into this beam. Protective members consist at least of three parts including die 15 having guide and expanding zones, punch 16 and protective insert 17. The second, combined mechanism for stopping crusher operation and returning retainable jaw into initial position is made in the form of axle 18 secured in shell and provided with levers, at least one of which (19) rests against retainable jaw and the others are connected with corresponding crusher switches 22 and are fitted with members 23 for connection with load lifting device. Introduction of additional mechanism adds to effectiveness of crusher protection against large uncrushible bodies. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of crusher and its higher maintainability. 1 dwg
