WIRE FEED METHOD Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

Abstract RU 2012460 C1

FIELD: welding. SUBSTANCE: when wire is fed for welding it is swaged on circle arc of definite length, which is adjusted by changing distance between points of contact of pressure unit with wire. Method provides for high pushing-trough forces and allows simultaneous feed of wire and its dressing. EFFECT: improved reliability and stability of wire feed and enhanced efficiency and higher quality of welding. 2 dwg
