FIELD: blast furnace equipment. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of blowing a mixture of carbon dust fuel and slag stabilizing additives into a hearth of the blast furnace, the slag stabilizing additives consisting lime and ferriferous components; before mixing the above mentioned fuel and slag stabilized additives, separately batching them by tuyeres, performing a mixing process by separate feed of fluidized lime and ferriferous components to different levels into a fluidized bed of the carbon dust fuel. The apparatus for performing the method has aeration-type feeders with additional tracts for feeding the slag stabilizing additives. The aeration feeders of the slag stabilizing additives are connected with the aeration feeders of fuel by pipelines in such a way, that each pipeline is placed over an aeration grate of the respective feeder of the fuel at height, equal to two- three diameters of the pipeline, and a pipeline for feeding iron ore components is placed at height, equal to 5-8 diameters of that pipeline.
