FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: suction tube has streamlined member with rounded ends, and coaxially installed additional tube to form gap. Intertube space is communicated with working substance source. Working substance is fed through gap and channels to tube inner space, and creates ascending flow which makes pulp rise in tube. Member is made of flexible material and furnished with rigid inside couplings. Ends of streamlined member are tightly secured, respectively, to suction tube end in its inner space and to end of additional tube. When working substance enters the gap, the member extends to needed sizes to ensure streamlined shape at suction tube inlet. Rigid couplings also serve to impart the required shape to member. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 3 cl, 3 dwg
