BOX Russian patent published in 1994 - IPC

FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: box is intended for formation of pockets and conduits for concealed replaceable electric wiring in construction structures. Box is formed from foam plastic and is composed of several parts joined with the aid of spatial jointing unit manufactured in the form of plug-and-socket connection in which one part of box is plug and the other part is socket. In middle of each jointing unit there is cylindrical hole corrugated in lateral direction which is formed with grooves in members of unit with jointing. Each jointing unit plus one is shaped as separate supplementary insert which forms next hole in box. Adjustment ring made of flexible material is put between surfaces of members. On both sides box terminates in narrowing cones, two protrusions forming groove are passed over side surfaces between cones in symmetry to longitudinal axis. Before setting into monolith in construction structure parts of box are subjected to compression to form tube-conduit former and the whole box is inserted with side grooves between wire locks in reinforced framework. After formation of construction structure at site part of volume of box with pipe is removed to pocket in which wires and electric installation articles are mounted.
