FIELD: pressing of hard cheeses molded in bulk (Rossiisky type). SUBSTANCE: cheese press comprises two cassette-type transfer devices, one of which is disposed at the loading side of pressing section while the other one, between pressing section and the unloading device. Each transfer device has the form of a carriage capable of moving vertically over parallel guides and carrying hinged load platform which can perform plane-parallel motion around an axis lying in plane disposed parallel to plane of guides and square to their axes. Holding section is mounted above the pressing section. EFFECT: improved design. 1 dwg
