FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, construction of rotary machines for pressing of products from powders in powder metallurgy, chemical and other branches of industry.

SUBSTANCE: rotary tablet machine has charging device and processing rotor which are mounted on base, casing incorporating matrices, upper and lower punches, and power drive. Processing rotor includes upper and lower units with power cylinders having pistons and stems defining piston and stem cavities in their casings. Periodic connection of power cylinder cavities to pressure sources is provided through first working fluid distributing device. Stroke of lower punches is adjusted during charging process by means of working fluid volume dosing device. Second distributing device controls volume dosing device for dosed feeding of working fluid. Transport rotor kinematically connected to process rotor cooperates with product height controlling sensor. Machine is equipped with product density measuring device, device for automatic changing of pressure force depending upon product density control data, apparatus for automatic laying of products into container, and transportation-accumulation system. Transportation rotor incorporates built-in product rejection mechanism, mechanism for feeding of products into density measuring device, and mechanism for transverse laying of products. Automatic laying device has cassette positioned so as to be lowered during discharge of products into container in order to provide continuous process on changing of container in transportation-accumulation system.

EFFECT: increased efficiency by automatic controlling and rejection of products with regard to their height and density characteristics, and automatic damage-free laying of products into container.
